Prolotherapy

Boost Your Body’s Healing Process Through Prolotherapy

Let our team at Precision Regenerative Medicine provide you with prolotherapy (also called proliferation therapy) as a complementary or alternative treatment for injury and the pain associated with it. We have been helping our clients heal faster through regenerative medicine since 2012.

What You Need to Know About Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy is an injection procedure that is commonly used to address inflammation related injuries in the neck, low back, joints and tendons. This treatment involves the injection of a solution of dextrose and local anesthetic into the affected areas in an effort to promote the body’s own healing.

How is Prolotherapy Different From Platelet Rich Plasma & Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate?

What sets Prolotherapy apart from Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC) therapies is that the patient’s own cells are not used for the treatment. This may be more appropriate in illnesses and conditions when we cannot use the patient’s own cells to include (but not limited to) cancer, anemia, certain skin conditions, or anticoagulation therapy.
